i think it depends alot on whats going to be in your room (colorwise). I think if you have dark browns and crisp whites a good wall color would be a rich deep purple or a steel blue. Or if you want something funky- an olive green or sunshiny yellow.What color would you like to paint your room.?
Mine depends on the season mostly. Blue, purple shades in summer, bold and warm colors like chocolate, peach and like that in winter. The room's colors can make you feel warm suiting to the weather you know. I also like the bright teal-ish ones.
I painted my Bedroom dark blue in the Summer, it's a nice colour but it makes me feel cold now it's Winter =/ I want to paint it red and black now.
Thick, wide Chocolate and Tan stripes, and get chocolate and tan comforters, curtains, everything.

I am painting my nails and i dont want people to think i am different because of the color i paint them?
okay, well i am painting my nails black, but it is not because i want to be a different person or i am not feeling myself, i just like the look, and there are people in my grade and stuff who also do that but i am just sort of worried that my friends will think of me different because my nails are black. I feel sort of stupid asking people what my friends will think. And i am not really expecting an answer like:If they were your true friends they wouldnt think that.
I mean like, i just dont want people to look at me and think omigosh, is she going emo?
or something dumb like that
i just want to know if it is a mistake

I've had my nails black before, it's not even emo anymore, for a while it was a fashion statment, the preps were doing their nails black, Stacey London (From What not to Wear.) had her nails painted black.
Don't care what people will think of you, ignore them because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Cheesy, but true.

My nails are black and white right now and look awesome. My friends liked them and commented on them. You shouldn't get treated different. The only person who treated me different was an annoying boy two years younger than me who has a thing against goths and everything black. I'm not a goth but he was convinced I am because of the nail polish. So what I'm trying to say it that its just twits and idiots who will judge you. :)

Need help figuring out what color to paint porch?
I am trying to pain the porch. I stained the floor and its a lighter color it kind of has an orangish tint to it. The porch is a 5 x 10 and has 4 windows and 2 doors. i am trying to figure out what colors would look good. Any one have any ideas to try and figure what colors to paint the wood walls and trim around windows?Need help figuring out what color to paint porch?

I'm changing rooms in my house, and I have no idea what color to paint it! I would like having 2 colors. (one color would go on 2 of the walls, and another color would go on the other 2 walls) I am a teenager, I'm into bright fun colors.

2] paint walls the pale gold of the sunflower curtains in kitchen.
3] get a red Asian bamboo door cover for window
4] get red fabric tablecover
5] use black iron or red/gold ceramic Asian teapot for centerpiece, or fabric bouquet of poppies
6] get long skinny Asian posters or prints for either side of window
The best color to go in that room would either be a chocolate brown or a deep red/possibly lighter or darker than the image I've given you below.
Your room looks like it should have a Latin vibe.
I would say for that room a light blue or a spring green.
I would say a bright color nothing dull or dark.. it will bring out the smaller things you put in the room
I saw the photo with the curtain/mirrors and the table so I hope this is the room your referring to. I would paint it a dark chocolate mousse color. It would bring out the color of your curtains and decor. Also, just a thought...friend to friend...if you had enough material to lengthen your curtains you could move them up closer towards the ceiling that would give the illusion of a larger window the ';feel'; of an even larger space. You'll impress your friends with the finished look of interior design. ;-)
