well it depends. If it is a boy and like dark colors, I would get like a dark blue and maybe an orange. For bedding I would look into JC Penny. But i am not sure if they have the blue and orange bed spread! Anyways, If it is a girl, then I would probably choose a light pink with really any other color. Target has some cool bedding at reasonable prices. Either find the comforter and then build your color scheme from that or pick a color scheme, buy a solid colored bedspread and then match up with patterned pillows, paisley's and stripes, polka dots... anything fun! White wicker accents are nice and you can usually find good buys this time of year on it. Also, once you've pick your colors, you can buy scrapbook papers, frame them with a photo in the middle or a letter pasted on them, or buy 3 of the papers and 8 x10 inexpensive frames from your dollar store, paste each of your initials in the middle of each (ones you've made or cut out) and hang over your bed for decorations. The possibilities are endless, just have fun at it!! one more tip... you can find colorful cloth napkins to use as dresser scraves or to put in baskets.
