The high-visibility, light-color of bright orange is best offset by a a neutral but still bright color - usually white.
I think black or white would look good. It would make the orange really stand out. But if your going for brighter colours, you could go with lime green or yellow :)
i would go with a yellow as a smooth transition from the bright orange to a white area like a ceiling or another wall
White if you want it to look somewhat sane, purple or black if you want to let out your Halloweeny side!
