The only problem is that, unless you are painting the entire car, it isn't going to match. Your car is 18 years old. They can make you up the correct paint per the code, but after 18 years the idea it's going to match is fanciful, especially if it's a metallic paint.
AHA!....an errant thought!....Most paint stores have an analyzer for paint colors. If you take in the gas cap door, or some other small piece, they may be able to modify the formula they get from the paint code to give you a much closer match! But again this probably won't work if it's a metallic. But at least it's worth a try.
Good luck!!Where do I find the color code for the paint color on my '91 Toyota Camry LE so I can get the right paint?
Yes - as billrang said on door - or door jam - the VIN label or a similar label. usually it will have a line that says C/TR followed by codes. that means COLOR/TRIM.
you better be planning to paint the whole car. expecting new paint to match 18 year old paint is a stretch. Good body shops will blend paint to match the car. the paint stores just look at the paint code, cross refernce it to the formula and blend it up. Then it can be adjusted for fade.Where do I find the color code for the paint color on my '91 Toyota Camry LE so I can get the right paint?
Look on the inside door jam of the drivers side door.
They print this info on a sticker that is placed there.
