play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';chateau brown'; (# 7510) might be a good choice.
You can take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
first what color is the furniture? If u have natural tans or beiges
u can go with soft green %26amp; use a coffee color for accent wall.
There is also a nice color called Tereasas Carmela if u have an Ace hardware near u -u can check it out. But be careful when using reds %26amp; oranges with that brick color.
Go to the store %26amp; bring home paint chip samples of all the colors u like. Compare them closely to the brick %26amp; furniture. Even take a pillow from the sofa to the store with u
Hope this helps
This answer really depends on the style of your home! It could go country and paint with creams or greens or could be more eclectic and go with browns and even blacks. I have same scheme here- I glazed my kitchen w/copper under and red over, then glazed fireplace to match(yet still reds) with the oak floor. Walls around fireplace a brown to match, with accents of black. But still all depends on style you want.
The complimentary color would be a green. In my vision it would be a medium sage green to accentuate the oak floors and make the red brick fireplace a focal point of your decor.
A muted khaki green would look absolutely delicious with a one deep taupe accent wall. You house sounds beautiful!
I would do a navy color on the all and do a French design while keeping it contemporary.
