I'm having trouble finding a color to paint my room. At first I Wanted brown, but I'm not too sure now. I Want a color that's not to bright yet to dark either. But I Also want a color that will match my mixed furniture.
If it helps heres similar pics of my furniture-

You could study feng shui to choose the right color for your room. It is an ancient art of building and object placement, using materials, plants and colors to enhance the flow of chi (energy).
Different colors bring different energies to your space. I chose a soft green for my bedroom because it is peaceful, natural and healing.Help on deciding what color to paint room?!?
Sage green. You can go as light or deep in the sage as you want. It compliments dark wood or modern furniture very well. Accents in silver and black and white /off white work well. It's a great neutral color, backdrops most accent pictures and pieces beautifully.
Maybe a rough, nearly heavy weave linen curtain...dark matchstick pull shades.
Never Go For Brown.
Brown is poop and poop is yucky :D
I would go for a sexy lavender
its dark and fierce like purple, but a little lighter to show a soft subtle side.
Or go for a darkish yellow.
Just have fun with it. It's your room...choose the color that expresses you even if it is all out wacky
I think brown is a great idea, but I'd go with a soft mocha shade that isn't too dark...
Bring it all together with bedding.

First of all, NO BROWN!!! All your furniture is in black, brown, or white, so you really need some color. I think you should consider two things:
1) What color are your blanket and bedsheets? Consider doing the wall in a complementary color.
2) Do you get direct sunlight in the room? If you do, think cooler colors like blues, greens, and purples. If you don't, you'll really brighten up the room by being bold and using warm colors in oranges or yellows (don't be afraid of color!! See how awesome an orange wall can look: http://www.interior-design-it-yourself.com/images/gallery_bedroom_orangeblack.jpg)
