Paint or color pencil?????????????????????

i hav a project for my history class and i am going to draw the great wall of china. but i dont noe if i should paint my drawing or color it with color pencils;. im doing my project on a big poster board i dont noe what to use!!:(Paint or color pencil?????????????????????
I have been working in colored pencil for over 5 years, and a poster that size would be better in paint. Not that it could not be done, but colored pencil is a much slower medium, and it requires a paper with much more ';tooth'; (ability to take color) than poster board will give you. Acrylics or liquid poster paints would be your best choice. Paint or color pencil?????????????????????
If you are using poster board it might warp and wrinkle with paint on it. The best thing is to use poster paint (also called tempra) or acylic for poster board. I agree with the person above me that said colored pencil will take time and you might want to go with paint. You also do not have the right paper for colored pencil that is correct.
paint is good for mixing colors, but can get messy, and colored pencils require constant sharpening so i think its a top up, but if it were me I would use colored pencils because I'm a terrible painter.
Paint would be more colorful but because the Great Wall of China would be awesome with small details, colored pencils will provide that better.
color pencil,trust me.

Paint can get smudged and ruin the posterboard.

I know from experience.(:
