What is the best color to paint my Garage?

I have a heated, enclosed garage. It's beginning to look pretty shabby, so I'm thinking I'll slap up a new coat of paint this summer. It's currently white, a very dirty white at that, the reason for my sudden burst of energy. My thoughts are just to redo it in white, or maybe an off white, but is there some sort of paint that I should be looking at that won't get dirty so fast with the normal type of dirt and garage smells, so to speak. So, my question isn't so much the color, tho' I'm open to suggestions, but what type of paint would you recommend?What is the best color to paint my Garage?
I painted the inside of our 2 car attached garage with a Kitchen and Bath paint , it is made to withstand the humidity in those rooms.


I just bought the basic white. It was originally a tannish brown, so it took a couple coats to cover. It washes easily as I have tried in a few places as it is very nasty due to the fact the wife and I smoked out there, never in the house. .What is the best color to paint my Garage?
use a light coloured masonary gloss. It will be waterproof, splash prrof, humidity proof, chip resistant. quite expensive but you would literally be able to hose your walls down!! x
what ever turns you on it is your garage lighter the color the better.
