My couches are cream colored, and I just recently painted my walls a sage green and a khaki color and it looks GOOD! You could paint your walls a khaki color, the actual one I used was called Relaxed Khaki, by Sherwin Williams. Even if you don't use their paint you could go get their color swatch and compare to other places. I really think that chocolate brown and khaki colors go well with sage green.
We have the same color couch. We went with a brown color, that had a hint of the sage (depending on how the light hits it). We also added a sand type product to the paint to give it texture. People seem to like it. We do :)


Make some pillows, and window dressings that will incorporate any color you decide on. It will pull it together.
eggshell, or white, or maybe even a cream color...it really just depends on your taste... go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some color swatches and take them home and compare them aginst the sofa... that way you know what you're getting beofre you spend your money... also, they can mix colors for you to take home is small containers and try them on your wall in small areas before you spend much money...
warm colors like brick red or even a sunny yellow.


Browns will just look drab and bland.
