What color should i paint my room?

i want to paint my room this summer.im sixteen if that helps.





these are the current colors of the border, wall, and my door.

getting new carpet in *not* an option.





my dresser is white. and so is my bed frame.





i have a dark blue couch in my room so hopefully something that matches that...





and also, do you think the curtains and bed spread should match the paint as well?

Depends on what you like, do you want it to look bold? or relaxing? If you want your room bold like, pick yellow ( the couch will stick out, making a nice contrast). If you want it more relaxing pick like light seafoam green, beach blue, light purple might work too.If your thinking of borders, Brown or white goes good with every thing.
try a neutral color, maybe like a tan or ';taupe'; as they might call it. You coudl probably leave the border as is and the door too. As far as the bedding aI might pick something in the blue family to tie in the couch.
